Faithfulness in little things

So far as I know, there have been 3 good / great inventions transpired through class assignments / papers.
1. Huffman coding - One of the most widely used loseless encoding algorithm.
2. Star Cubing - This is a data cube computation algorithm developed by a student of our Datamining professor, Prof. Jiawei Han. During one of the lectures, the student got this idea of Star cubing.
3. Decision Tree Induction - In the field of supervised machine learning and specifically in Classification, the decision tree algorithm seems to be one of the most widely adopted algos. This was developed by Robert Quinlan during one of his class assignments.
What I really learn from all these is that when we are faithful in the small things that God wants us to do, large rewards are in store for us. So even if it is a class assignment or term paper or class project, if we put our heart to it faithfully, we can hear "Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master's happiness!"
