NRN signs off

It is sad to hear the news of NRN getting retired from Infy. NRN had been an inspiration and hope to many people and a "pioneer of the Indian outsourcing industry". I started hearing about Infy and NRN when I was in college and was really impressed with all the stories. I was thrilled to see him once in Infy Blore library and once during an Infy All Hands meet. NRN was sitting amidst everyone just like any other employee in the arena. Some of the incidents abt NRN that made a mark in me were,
1. Standing up against the idea of selling out Infy in i guess '94
2. Standing up against layoffs
3. Awarding special rewards (guess rs.2500) to all bus drivers for safely driving Infoscions back home during the "Rajkumar abduction" riots in Blore.
4. persistence in everything he did.
