Beware of keyless car entry and ignition

After having moved to Philadelphia, I am currently looking to buy a car and so visited a Toyota dealer showroom last week. The sales guy showed me through a 2007 model of Toyota Camry XLE which has a keyless ignition. I was just amazed seeing a car with keyless ignition (btw, 2007 camry is little expensive :( ). I pondered on if a keyless ignition would be secure ??!!. If so how long would it take to break into this keyless ignition system!!. I was surprised to read about car thieves who broke into keyless ignition based cars using laptops. They have connected wirelessly into David Bechamz BMW X5 SUV and unlocked the car and drove it away :)
