Oracle's Linux

Oracle is planning to unveil its own version of Linux. Larry Ellison initally planned on buying RedHat but finally settled in for developing Oracle's own version of Linux. I am really excited about this news and hope to see oracle's Linux take over MS. I also heard that Google is secretly working on an OS but havent yet seen any official info from Google. Is it a true rumour as usual ??
