Google has an interesting policy of having itz employees work on projects of their own interest on 20% time in a week. So on the Fifth day, people come up with their own ideas of projects / thesis / papers and work on them. Once they get a concrete idea, they propose the same to Larry / Sergey (the founders of Google) who would evaluate the ideas and if convinced would allott funding and resources to get transform the ideas into real world projects.
Any guess on some of those ideas developed during the Fifth day which have grown into projects ??
